Fun in the Sun – A Review of the Flofa by Backyard Ocean

Disclaimer – We were provided this pool float in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Flofa Review Pin
Our kids love spending time in the pool. My son is on summer swim team (and my daughter will be next year as well!) and we have a pool in our backyard.

Needless to say, we spend a lot of time in the water!

Pool safety is so important to my family. In fact, even though my daughter *could* swim well enough this summer, we decided we wanted the peace of mind of her swimming more than well enough and enrolled her in a 2 week summer swim intensive.

It was like magic! At the start of the 2 week sessions, she would struggle to swim between 3-6 feet. Now she can swim across any length of water and can flip to her back and float easily.

To celebrate her newfound swimming freedom, we bought some fun pool toys. We purchased some water guns, beach balls and we were actually sent the COOLEST float from Backyard Ocean to enjoy.

It’s called a Flofa and it’s supposed to be like a “sofa” for your pool! It is huge (but fits in our pool very well) and can easily fit a dozen kids at a time (a dozen could be a slight exaggeration), but is made so that even 4 adults can sit comfortably.

Float your worries away

Turn your above-ground pool into an outdoor living room with this one-of-a-kind Four Seat FLOFA pool float from Backyard Ocean™. Family and friends can take a seat on this floating sofa, dipping their toes in the refreshingly cool water as they enjoy drinks and a leisurely chat. Measuring 80″ x 80″, this inflatable pool lounger easily fits four people for a fun, intimate gathering.

Made of 100% PVC material, this float is made to stand extreme heat from the sun. It comes with handles as a safety feature and cupholders for your ice-cold concoctions so you can keep hydrated as you float away from your worries.

Features

  • Comes with 4 handles for added safety

  • 4 built-in cupholders provide convenience

  • 6 air chambers let you easily inflate this pool float

  • Measures 80 in x 80 in

  • For ages 8 and above

It took my husband awhile to blow up, but since then it’s been perfect. Even repeatedly being tugged in and out of the pool has not damaged this sturdy float. I love the bright colors and I REALLY love the cup holders!

flofa review

My kids absolutely love the Flofa and it is probably our most used float. Although, it’s not used for relaxation that often in our household.

Here’s some video of how my kids prefer to play in the Flofa:
