Halloween Bark
Remember this?
Trick or Treat, smell my feet.
Give me something good to eat.
If you don’t, I don’t care…
I have Halloween Bark at home *shrugs*
I kept seeing this “recipe” all over Pinterest.
Then the other day I saw it on Pioneer Woman’s show.
So I had to make it of course!
It’s so super easy and a little goes a long way.
I have to admit, my kids did 90% of the work on this one, so all credit goes to them.
(I took the pretty pictures though!)
Halloween Bark
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of white chocolate chips
- 1 bag of milk or semisweet chocolate chips
- Whatever Halloween Candy you want (we used mini reeses cups, reeses pieces, candy corn m&m’s, candy corn and Halloween sprinkles)
- About a fun size baggie of pretzels crushed up
Directions:
- Melt your milk chocolate in the microwave.
- Spread your milk chocolate in a thin layer over a piece of foil. I put the foil on a baking sheet and used that as a guide (also helps keep candy contained)
- Sprinkle your pretzels all over your milk chocolate
- Let chill until hard
- Now melt your white chocolate in the microwave (make sure you have your candy ready. I made up bowls of various candy for each kid)
- Spread your white chocolate over the pretzel layer.
- Cover with candy and sprinkles
- Chill
- Break apart into pieces and SHARE!
This would be great for after Halloween as well. Use all those leftover bits of candy and make this as a real great treat!
You can get super creative with this bark. I think I’m going to try a peppermint one (maybe using those Andies mint chips?) for Christmas!
A little goes a long way with this bark so you can take this to a Halloween party and break it up into small bite sized pieces.
