Family Vacations: When my children were small, this is how we had our family vacations. I have twin boys and we brought our daughter home on their fourth birthday. We brought up our children with love and the understanding that family meant sharing…even what we did on vacation. So, part of our vacation was spent doing something that they really wanted to do…with the understanding that the adults also got to have their day doing something they wanted to do, (which in my case was visiting a museum or an art gallery). They did great on these days because they knew the next day would again be theirs. I’m sure you can see what a great learning experience this can be all the way around. A great way to round out growing up years with growing up on a small farm. All of my children now have their own children, and I can only hope they will always keep their own family balanced as much as possible. I hope this comment somehow gives you good feelings on your own family vacations, I feel that you are a great Mom, and the best of luck to you and your family.
    Sincerely, Kathy Cain
